The World’s 100 Best Restaurants List 2015

It’s that time of year again when gourmands and culinary experts around the globe find out where are the best restaurants in the world. The Worlds best is voted by a group of 1000 judges from 27 geographical zones around the world. In 2014 Noma (Denmark) beat The Roca brothers’ El Celler de Can Roca (Spain) for the #1 position. In 2015 there were some shocks (The Fat Duck, UK) and surprises (White Rabbit, Moscow) but also some redemption from El Celler de Can Roca who reclaimed the #1 position to be named the Best Restaurant in the World for 2015. We are thrilled to see Attica in the Top 50 again and their award for Best Restaurant in Australasia as well as Australian newcomers Brae in Birregurra, Victoria (#87). However one of the great delights when seeing this list was the terrifically talented Gaggan Anand and his “progressive Indian” restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand. This was one of Foodie Mookie’s culinary treats in last year and the #10 position is truly deserved.
